Noticeboard

Welcome to St Nicholas Group Practice would like to welcome you through this window in to our surgery. This website aims to provide up to date information relating to our practice and helps us to help you with the provision of health care information.

We are Merging!

St.Nicholas Group Practice would like to take the opportunity to inform our patients that in early summer 2018, we will be merging with Rosehill Surgery and Manchester Road Surgery.

We will become BURNLEY GROUP PRACTICE. All phone numbers, patient access etc. will remain the same.

This will not affect your care and we hope that this will improve your patient experience.

Patients will retain access to their usual doctor (subject to availability) and will have the flexibility to attend either St.Peters Centre or Manchester Road Surgery.

A Questions and Answers leaflet providing more information is available to collect from our reception team.

We strive to offer a high standard of care to all of our patients with professionalism and empathy.

We are informing you that you have a named GP who is accountable for your care. However, when making appointments you can still see any GP of your choice.

Please help us to improve our online services & further develop the website by providing feedback to us, or please help us to develop the practice by getting involved through our patient reference group.

Thank you for using our services.

GP Net Earnings

GP average earnings statement

GP Average earnings
NHS England require that the net earnings of doctors engaged in the Practice is publicised, and the required disclosure is shown below. However it should be noted that the prescribed method for calculating earnings is potentially misleading because it takes no account of how much time doctors spend working in the Practice and should neither be used to form any judgement about GP earnings, nor to make any comparison with any other practice.
All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

The average pay for GPs working at St Nicholas Group Practice in the last financial year was £54,932, before tax, national insurance and employee pension contributions.

This is for 6 GPs.
